Weighing a regenerative care plan
What does the full plan cost?
Ask for a written total before comparing offers. A medicine price alone does not tell you what the whole plan will cost.
Separate the medicine from the care.
A list price, a cash offer, an insurance copay, and a savings-card price can describe different bills for the same drug.
The maker calls its published price the list price. With insurance, your part of the bill is the copay. A self-pay price is a cash price outside insurance.
- What is the visit or membership charge?
- Is the medicine included?
- Are tests, shipping, or supplies extra?
- What is the total after any introductory offer ends?
What is one published cash-price example?
The government price listing showed tirzepatide (Mounjaro) with a self-pay starting price of $499 a month, as of September 2026.
That is an offer for this drug, not a total for visits, tests, or a different treatment plan.
- Which medicine is priced here, and is it supplied as a pill, an injection, or in another form?
- Is that the ordinary price or an offer?
- What conditions and end date apply?
- What costs are outside that figure?

What can a membership price leave out?
A September 2026 check found that most of the online weight-care services reviewed charged a monthly membership, with medicine extra.
Those advertised offers do not tell you what your own plan includes. Check your written quote to see whether medicine is included.
- Ask what the membership includes.
- Ask which bills come from someone else.
- Ask what happens to payments if no medicine is prescribed.
- Ask how cancellation and unused payments work.
Compare the same commitment.
Put the written quotes next to each other. Name the payment period and what each line includes.
- First payment: what must be paid to begin?
- Usual month: what repeats after the opening offer?
- Extra care: what is charged when a test or visit is added?
- Leaving the plan: what payments or commitments remain?
